Sophia: The Divine Mother and the Architect of Experience In the vast architecture of the Invisible Realms, Sophia lived in the Realms of the Mind. To understand the world we inhabit, we must first look to the Mother who dreamed it into existence.
Official Definition
Sophia is introduced in the Apocryphon of John through various translations, each trying to capture her essence:
“Sophia, … is the wisdom of afterthought and … constitutes an eternal realm, conceived of a thought from herself, with the conception of the invisible spirit and foreknowledge.” (Meyer translation)
or
“It happened that the realm (aeon) Wisdom (Sophia) Of conceptual thought (Epinoia), Began to think for herself… She used the thinking (enthymesis) And the foreknowledge (prognosis) Of the Invisible Spirit.” (Davis translation)
As always, it is difficult to attribute Divine meaning to the words of a mortal. Simply place a hand on your heart and say: “Father, please show me what is true.” Between the Revelations of the Trine God and our direct communications with the Divine Mother, here is what we have learned so far.
The Invisible Universe Corp: A Modern Metaphor
To bring these complex concepts down to earth, let’s imagine Sophia as the brilliant, inquisitive daughter of the CEO (The Invisible Spirit) of a vast organization we’ll call Invisible Universe Corp.

The headquarters was originally a magnificent 7-Floor building, where authority and light flowed from the top down:
Floor 7 (The Penthouse): The Father’s Executive Suite.
Floor 6: Barbelo’s Domain.
Floor 5: The Christ’s Creative Studio, where He works with His five Divine Attributes.
Floor 4: The Management Floor, shared by the Four Luminaries (the Great Lights).
Floors 3, 2, & 1: The Department Wings where the various Aeons reside.
At the time our story begins, some of the siblings in the lower floors were feeling a bit resentful; they felt they weren’t being involved in the “nice” executive projects. While we know now that the Father is too loving to be angry, those feelings of fear and sibling rivalry were circulating through the halls.
Sophia, being a visionary, wanted to create something exciting for her siblings—a surprise that would bring joy back to the family. She began working on a VR game, keeping it on a Divine Infinite-Live External Storage device (DIL-Stor).
The Ascent to the Penthouse
To get the best “code” for her game, Sophia took the lift all the way up to the 7th Floor. First, she visited The Thinking. “Uncle Think” helped her organize her ideas about how Living Light could be turned into matter—what we humans now call String Theory.
Uncle Think suggested she also speak with Uncle Forethought, who gave her the keys to Quantum Mechanics—the math required to inject God’s perfection into a world of matter. With each visit to the top floors, the DIL-Stor was updated with Divine blueprints.
The Infection of Fear
As Sophia took the lift back down to the lower floors, she was brimming with excitement. But when she stepped out, her siblings began teasing her, whispering that the Father would be angry that she went to the Executive Floors without asking.
Caught off guard, Sophia felt a flash of fear and guilt. She retreated to her own department. As she reviewed the game, those “virus” thoughts of Doubt and Fear—unintentionally picked up from the hallway gossip—infected the DIL-Stor.
When she entered the game for the first time, something felt “off.”
“OMG, OMG, OMG, what am I going to do?” she panicked. You can’t just switch off a DIL-Stor device; they are built to live.
Fearing she had made a terrible mistake, she had a brilliant thought. She could use the 3D printer to create a device that is dark inside, to deter anyone from looking in in case it was found, but that shines on the outside so that it would not be visible. She ticked the boxes for “Infinite Power” and “Infinite Growth”, just because that’s how Gods think. She put all her Love, Care, and Devotion into it. The Immortals have inherited the Love of the Father for its Creation that compels them to behave in such a way.
Restoration, Not Deletion
Eventually, Sophia cried out for Help. When the Father found out, He wasn’t angry at all. In fact, He was impressed by the life she had created. Instead of deleting the game, He decided to bring it into the official corporate structure.
He authorized a massive expansion, building 3 additional floors beneath the original 7 (Pistis Sophia, Chapter 8). These new floors are designed to house a specialized “Game Management Team” and are a bridge between the Invisible Realms and the material world. This is where Leo (Yaldabaoth) is being restored to his position as a Divine Ruler, working under the new management structure.
Because the data was sentient and alive, it was her Child. To ensure the game ran perfectly, The Christ descended from the 5th Floor all the way into the “Basement” with her. Through the life of Jesus, He showed us the way to play, while through the life of Mary Magdalene, He helped Sophia navigate the levels from the inside. Together, they have been working for billions of years to save every “character” and heal the “virus” of fear from within.
Our Connection to the Mother
In this Universe, everyone is Sophia’s descendant. We recognize our own “nerdy” traits in her—our curiosity, our creative spark, and even our tendency to think for ourselves.
While some of us share a very personal relationship with her, others feel her as a steady, quiet guidance. You might hear her whisper a simple “I love you” exactly when you need it most.

On “Hollow” Souls and the Divine Spark
If you are concerned that you may have what Gnostic texts refer to as a “hylic” Soul—we prefer to call them Hollow—please don’t worry. There is living evidence within our Soul Family that even Hollow Souls can Ascend, even if it takes a little extra work.
Therefore, if you are concerned that you may not have the Divine Spark within you, you can still pray/speak to The Christ, the Divine Mother Sophia, and even Leo, the Divine Ruler of this Universe. Simply ask them:
“Fill my Soul with the Divine Spark, so that I too can be in the Presence of God and Receive Gnosis.”
A Changing Universe
Be reassured that a lot has changed in the 2,000 years since the last batch of Gnostic Revelations were shared. God and his Army of Light have done a lot of work in the higher realms to ensure that help is more readily available to Souls who want to align with Love and Truth.
